queer love is sacred.
Queer joy is sacred.
and so is your journey
This is a space where your whole self is welcomed and celebrated. Here, the sacred is not about conformity - it is about authenticity, healing, and joy. I help ueer and trans folks in Virginia (and beyond) honor life’s milestones, navigate challenges, and deepen connections to self and community.
Hi, I’m Rev. susan
Hello dear one! My name is Rev. Susan (she/her), and I am so glad you are here.
I am an interfaith and interspiritual minister based in Richmond, Virginia dedicated to creating sacred spaces and community for queer, trans, poly, and kink-affirming communities. My work weaves together tradition and innovation through weddings, funerals, and rituals; coaching and psiritual counseling; and mindfulness and meditation practices.
Whether you’re seeking to celebrate love, process grief, or deepen your spiritual journey, I offer inclusive, judgment-fre guidance rooted in compassion, authenticity, and radical belonging. I would be honored to assist in creating rituals and practices that honor your truth.
I’m here to help you find your wholeness. Let’s connect!
My work begins with the belief that every person carries inherent sacredness. You don’t need to change who you are, or leave parts of yourself at the door - your full self is welcome here: queer, trans, poy, kink, questioning, or simply curious.
I draw on interfaith and interspiritual traditions to create ceremonies, counseling, and practices that are rooted in authenticity, compassion, and joy. My personal path is a blend of Buddhism and Irish Paganism - but I am equipped to assist with modern ritual creation from a wide variety of paths. My role is to hold and create space where your truth is seen, honored, and celebrated.
I believe in speaking truth to power, and standing up for the rights of all disenfranchised by the patriarchy, white supremacy, and Christian nationalism that is currently plaguing this country. I view the world through an anti-colonial lens, and am radically left. You may find me on the streets attending Black Lives Matter protests, No Kings protests, speaking out at local community meetings, or volunteering for community organizing projects. You do not need to believe what I do in order to work with me; however, I reserve the right to deny services to anyone actively engaging in hate speech or working against the rights of my community (especially BIPOC and Trans individuals).
I do also identify as a lesbian woman.
